Simethicone in Espactive kids eliminates colic and bloating.
Every 5 ml contains:
Simethicone USP 40 mg.
It is applied in the following cases:
intestinal colic in newborns and infants;
aerophagia;
functional dyspepsia;
digestive disorders, dyspepsia, heartburn, flatulence and constipation in pregnant women;
flatulence in the postoperative period;
preparation for diagnostic tests of the abdominal cavity and pelvic organs (ultrasound, radiography, etc.), including as an additive to suspensions of contrast media for obtaining an image by double-contrast;
as an antifoam for acute poisoning with detergents.
Infants and children under 6 years of age are prescribed the drug in a single dose of 40 mg (1 teaspoon each). The frequency of administration is 3-5 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 14 years – 40-80 mg (1-2 teaspoons).
With flatulence, adults are prescribed a single dose of 80 mg (2 teaspoons).
To prepare for radiography and ultrasound of the abdominal organs, 80 mg (2 teaspoons) are prescribed 3 times a day the day before the study and 80 mg (2 teaspoons) in the morning on the day of the study.
To obtain a double contrast image, add 20-40 ml of an emulsion to 1 liter of a contrast suspension.
In case of poisoning with detergents, adults are prescribed 50-100 ml, for children 10-50 ml, depending on the severity of the poisoning.
Espaktiv Kids should be taken with meals or after meals, if necessary also before bedtime.
